Electricity Human Resources Canada (EHRC) is Canada’s leading provider of trusted HR research intelligence for our national sector.
Our primary role is to strengthen the ability of the Canadian electricity and renewable energy industry to meet current and future workforce needs. EHRC develops the resources that inspire our next generation and is the steward of forward-thinking initiatives that drive positive change as together we build Canada’s low carbon economy.

The Great Canadian Electricity Map
EHRC’s Great Canadian Electricity Map introduces youth to the innovative ideas, and people, driving Canada’s sustainable energy future. Co-designed with Canadian Geographic, the map is seven by nine meters in size and rolls out across a gymnasium or equivalent-sized floor. It comes with teaching resources for teachers and facilitators to help people learn about the electricity sector.
The map lays out Canada’s vast geography, electricity transmission system and major generating infrastructure in its geographic location across the country.
