Community and technical colleges play a key role in training and building the workforce needed in the solar and storage industries. The workforce includes a wide range of careers: electricians, installers, construction workers, construction supervisors and managers, project managers, salespeople, manufacturing technicians, system designers, operations and maintenance technicians, and more. During this session, attendees will learn how to engage the workforce of tomorrow. The panel will discuss strategies for addressing hiring challenges and opportunities in the rapidly evolving clean energy sector. Following the panel discussion, attendees will break out into groups led by each speaker and explore best practices for recruiting skilled trades workers from local communities.
