Wednesday, September 10, 2025 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM · 1 hr. (America/Los_Angeles)

Information

The solar industry, enforcement agencies, lawmakers, and other stakeholders have pushed for policies to ensure a high-quality customer experience, especially in light of industry bankruptcies, issues with marketing practices, interconnection delays, and complaints about door-to-door sales. However, with the passing of H.R. 1 and upcoming changes to the residential solar landscape, it is more important than ever to ensure consumers are receiving reliable and trustworthy information. Initiatives to promote a strong customer experience include consumer education, industry coordination, engaging in state policy development, and releasing national standards. This panel of solar industry and consumer advocates will explore current initiatives to improve the experiences of residential solar customers in this new era of residential solar.
