Technical Interconnection Requirements (TIRs) are critical for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the distribution grid. However, if not carefully structured, they can significantly impact project viability and slow the Mid-Atlantic’s clean energy progress. This session will assess distribution system interconnection rules across the region, drawing on lessons from New York’s Coordinated Electric System Interconnection Review and other best practices.
