GrassWorx InstaTurf® ShearForce erosion control products utilize simulated turf to protect, establish, and permanently reinforce natural vegetation, forming a hybrid vegetative armoring system capable of replacing large rock riprap in high flow applications. Unlike conventional turf reinforcement mats, InstaTurf ShearForce10 and ShearForce12 Instant Armoring mats provide rock-like protection from day one of installation to prevent erosion failures before, during and after vegetation establishment. Our ShearForce10 and ShearForce12 mats are ideal for use in place of rock for protecting drainage channels, outfalls, pond/lake banks, and steep slopes on solar farms, commercial/residential developments, and other construction sites at risk of substantial erosion problems.
