Monday, September 8, 2025 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM · 2 hr. (America/Los_Angeles)
Julius Ballroom 12, Caesar's Palace
Information
As energy systems become increasingly interconnected, safety and security—specifically electrical grid cybersecurity— are critical. The way we generate and consume electricity is more digital than ever before. During this Deep Dive, attendees will hear a series of briefings on the most important topics involving energy cybersecurity. Presenters will discuss the intersection of cybersecurity and energy independence, focusing on how asset owners, communities, and commercial and industrial (C&I) companies can protect their systems from evolving cyber threats while ensuring a reliable, resilient energy infrastructure. Additionally, experts will address cybersecurity policy efforts, emerging technologies, smart grid supply chain risk management, secure manufacturing operations, industry challenges, cybersecurity best practices, and education initiatives across critical electricity infrastructures. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity challenges facing the solar and storage industry and learn how to implement proactive solutions to safeguard both their assets and the broader electricity grid.
This Deep Dive will feature two 30-minute briefings on operational technology cybersecurity and the intersection of cybersecurity and energy independence. Following the briefings, this session will close with a panel discussion.
